Officers Flying Armed Tactics for Tubular Combat

Our programs are designed to reinforce safe and efficient weapons handling and to introduce the armed pilot to theories of close quarter armed and unarmed defense in the cockpit or the cabin areas.

We use a combination of live-fire, non-lethal munitions, and hand-to-hand self defense training to prepare pilots to defend their flight deck and assist other LEO’s while traveling off duty.

One of our major goals is to get you away from the shooting-range mindset and instill an aggressive combative attitude to help you deal with defeating a very deadly and aggressive adversary.  Your actions during time of crisis will not only determine if you live but also if hundreds of others (in your care) will also live. By the end of the training day you will have a different attitude!

Course Topics Include:

  • Efficient Weapons handling
  • Close Quarter Combative Principles
    • Combative mindset
    • Aggressive threat neutralization
    • Shooting from different positions
    • Single-Hand Emergency operations
    • Scenario-Based threat response
    • Decision making exercises
    • Cockpit and Cabin engagements
  • Defensive Tactics tailored to your environment
  • Edged Weapons Defense
  • Takedowns and submissions
  • Ground fighting survival

All of our instructors are former Federal Air Marshal (FAM) instructors. This training will tie in with tactics used by the FAM’s and will aid you in responding and working with other LEO’s on the aircraft at the time of a critical incident.

All tactics are designed to work in the environs of the cockpit and cockpit door.

Most training is conducted at our Los Angeles facility, close to four major airports; LAX, Burbank, Ontario, and Long Beach.

Upcoming classes will be listed in the next couple days. Please go to the calendar page to enroll.
